About Shamrock Capital Partners

Consistent, Above Average Returns through Diversification

Founded in Greensboro, NC, in 2003 by Ray E. Lopez, Shamrock Capital invests in opportunities which complement its core diversification strategy, are strong add-ons to its current holdings, and demonstrate above-average returns. We are a diversified private equity company with investments in real estate, retail products, and early-stage venture companies.

Shamrock Capital identifies, analyzes, and performs due diligence on unique investment opportunities. Over the years, we’ve made numerous investments and maintain a solid history of managing and building highly profitable companies.

Today, our focus lies in three principal areas

  • Residential Land Development – land acquisition and development of residential lots for local and national home builders
  • Retail Products – supplier and distributor of private label and branded products to global retailers
  • Venture Capital – investor in early stage, technology-based businesses

How We Got Started

Today, SCP remains one of the top go-to sources for private-label consumer goods by retailers, such as Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. In addition, SCP makes early-stage investments in companies that show promise and determination to make a space in their respective markets. SCP also acquires land and develops residential lots for DR Horton and other home builders in neighborhoods throughout the Triad area of North Carolina.

“If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.”
